Educircles Contests, Promotions and TpT Giftcard Giveaways

The TpT Marketplace Integrity team has emailed me and clarified that they do not allow content “on the platform” that are services or non-educational goods.

This is a great piece of learning for me! When I read through their terms of service, my understanding was the restrictions were about the kinds of products we can list on TpT.

The resource in question is my Who is Invisible resource. It explores which groups of people are visible or poorly represented. (I think this is a great resource to encourage conversations about citizenship and critical thinking.)

I ran a Who is Invisible contest to encourage more teachers to use the lesson in the classroom. I had information in the TpT product description about this contest.

Although my resources are educational and that is allowed, the TpT Marketplace Integrity team clarified that posting a contest element in the product description is not allowed.

Next Steps:

I still want to do Teachers Pay Teachers giveaways. I like supporting teachers during these crazy times.

I’m going to spend a time cleaning the house and reflecting on the best way to communicate effectively. In the meantime, here are my previous TpT gift card giveaways.

FYI: Right now, my gift card giveaways are restricted to the US and Canada (excluding Quebec.) If you live in a different part of the world, please read this post.

If you have any questions, as always, feel free to send me an email at [email protected]

Stay tuned!
