  • The slideshow lesson is no prep. Just load the Microsoft Powerpoint or Google Slideshow and teach. The slides will walk you through the video evidence and some basic critical thinking strategies.

  • The 10-page handout package is no prep. Just print and give to students. The handouts go along with the slideshow lesson.

  • Understanding the answer script will take a lot of prep. The detailed answer script is 19 PAGES long. It includes timestamps to videos as well as links to the specific section in the youtube video.

There are 19 examples of inferences and evidence that collectively prove the main lie in this activity. The script for each clue is explained using the "It says, I say, And so" format:

  • "It says" (evidence from the text) - blue highlight

  • "I say" (my knowledge) - yellow highlight

  • "And so" (my inference) - green highlight.

OPTION 2. Teach the slideshow lesson in the FREE Did I Cheat slideshow lesson. Then use the worksheet package to see what individual students think.
