Even though we’ve never met, I want to build connections with the people who use my stuff.

It’s not you. It’s me!

Chances are if you can’t figure out something, it’s because I haven’t figured out the best way to explain it yet!

When you download a file from the internet, Microsoft Powerpoint and Word will open the file in PROTECTED VIEW.

At the top of the document, there will be a yellow warning bar.

“PROTECTED VIEW: Be careful – files from the internet can contain viruses. Unless you need to edit, it’s safer to stay in Protected View.”

Beside this warning is a white “Enable Editing” button. When you click that, you’ll be able to modify the document.

The layout is probably messed up because your computer is missing one of the fonts I use in my resources.

The comic book font I use is called Bangers.

If you install the font on your computer, shut down Powerpoint or Word, and then re-open the file, the layout should be fixed. (You can download the font for free here.)

If you’re one of my products before Nov 2021…

  • The Bangers font and the instructions to install the font should be in the READ ME FIRST pdf (FILE 1.)

If you’re one of my products published or updated after Nov 2021…

  • If you look at the bottom right of the page, underneath the page number will be a date.
  • Since Nov 2021, I’ve embedded the Bangers font into my Word and Powerpoint files. Now, you shouldn’t have to install any fonts on your computer because they’re included in the Word / Powerpoint file.
  • If for some reason the font isn’t working and you’re using a Word / Powerpoint file in one of my resources published or updated after Nov 2021, please email me or contact me. That’s a glitch that I’d like to fix for everyone!
